L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary oil shampoo and conditioner – Review

Not that long ago I posted a blog all about the L’Oreal Elvive hair mask (find it here). Today I am here with a follow up to that post with a review on the L’Oreal Elvive shampoo and conditioner. I have to be honest, I don’t usually have favourite shampoo and conditioners, I have the ones I use and that’s really it. I typically stick to TRESemme or Herbal Essences simply out of nothing more than convenience; they’re the products I’ve just always used. Therefore, for me to be writing a blog post all about my new favourite shampoo and conditioner is pretty strange. However, here we are!

If you did manage to catch my blog post regarding the Elvive hair mask, then you will remember the thing I loved most was the smell. It was the very same smell that made me purchase the matching shampoo and condition on a whim. Therefore, when I now wash my hair I can really lock in that fragrance, which I love so much!

The shampoo and conditioner are actually designed to help your hair when you’re on holiday. The pair are meant to tackle dry hair that is exposed to sun, sand, salt and chlorine. Now on a regular basis, I am not quite so lucky to be exposed to these elements. Regardless, this set definitely gives my hair a good deep clean every time I use it.

Alongside being designed for hair exposed to the beach and swimming pool, the set claims to leave the hair nourished, shiny and free-flowing. After just a couple of uses I can confirm that this is most certainly the case! Unlike any other shampoo and conditioner, these products leave my hair feeling as if it has been freshly washed at the salon. All they need to do now is design a product that will actually wash your hair…

The use of six different flower oils definitely pays off in ensuring the hair is left silky and refreshed. If you’re hair is feeling a little run down and needs a bit of TLC, I would 100% recommend this range. Not only does it work wonders but it is super affordable!!
