End of year Garden Party!

Hi again guys! First year is now finished! Exams done, portfolios and essays in! Very happy! I will be doing a post about first year but for today…. Last weekend was the end of year Garden Party and I thought I would do a post on my makeup and the night in general!

So naturally, for a big event all of the girls started getting ready at 1o’clock (alongside the wine). We started off the day doing facemasks and nails whilst watching ‘The Princesses Diary’. Lets be honest it had to be done! As the day went on, as always I became the events hair and makeup artist. So my hair and makeup was last and rushed! But I had a few new products that I wanted to try and I am so happy with the way my makeup turned out!

I started off with my usual face routine. I put on my foundation and concealer and blended it all in. I then moved on to contouring my face. For a big event, contouring is a must on me! I then applied my blush and my face was ready! I then gave myself some eyebrows and begun to look more human! Then the fun part.. eyes!

I recently purchased Nar’s Christopher Kane’s ‘Outer limits’ eye shadow. It is absolutely stunning. Words cannot even explain how much I love this! So I first applied ‘Eternal Gold’ from Maybelline all over my lid. Then placed ‘Outer Limits’ on top. I put ‘Bliss’ from my Stila palette into my crease and ‘Trick’ from my Urban Decay palette into the outer corner of my eye! Once this was completed, I added some colour to my lips and then I was done!!

Mac ‘Studio Fix’ foundation
Mac ‘Pro Long Wear’ concealer
Benefit ‘Boi-ing’ concealer
Maybelline ‘The Eraser eye’ concealer
Nars contour and lip palette
Nars ‘Irrésistiblement’ bronzer
Too faced ‘Milk chocolate’ bronzer
Nars ‘orgasm’ blusher
Illamasqua ‘Precision Brow Gel’
Maybelline ‘Eternal Gold’ Colour Tattoo eye shadow
Nars ‘Outer limit’ eye shadow
Stila ‘Bliss’ eye shadow
Urban Decay ‘Trick’ eye shadow
Dior ‘Iconic overcurl’ mascara
Rimmel ‘Stellar Apocalips’ lip stain
MaxFactor ‘Red Rush’ lip liner

I chose to wear a white dress with sandals for the evening as I thought it was appropriate for the event! I wore a long neckless to add to the look! The night was absolutely perfect. Even though I had not yet finished university, it was the perfect way to end first year! However, me and my girls did spend most of night by the window where the food was being dispersed. Typical! The evening had a very festival vibe to it with live music played throughout the night. The night finished with fireworks lighting up whole of campus. It truly was the perfect night!

Thank you for reading guys, hope you enjoyed!
I have a lot of posts coming up so look out for them!:)
