Reflect on 2014!

Okay, so it’s been quite a while since I last posted anything and I thought it was time I got back into it! Now it’s 2015 and I’m back at uni I thought it would be a really good idea to reflect on 2014 as it was truly the most amazing year of my life! At the beginning of January I turned 18 and I didn’t quite expect how much my life would change!

I started the year as an A-level student and finished as a first year English student living in Cornwall. Even though it was what I always wanted it to do, I never would have believed I be here right now! If it wasn’t for my amazing family and friends encouraging me every step of the way, I can honestly say I would not have made it! There are many moments when I look back at the past year and can’t help but smile. The day I finally finished A-levels!, year 13 prom, results night (even though that ended with a broken foot!) welcoming a new little guy into the Pizza Hut family, going to Malia with the most amazing girls, spending a ridiculous amount of nights up town with the work lot and coming to uni and meeting some of the most amazing and craziest people! the list goes on!

Whilst turning 18 may have legally meant that I was classed as an adult, it is not until now when I can look back on everything that I have achieved in this past year, that I can honestly say I am now an adult. It’s quite scary actually! In september when I left my parents as they left me in Cornwall and headed back to Essex, I honestly didn’t think that I would ever be able to cope without them and cried for at least a week. Now after returning from a month at home I have released just how much I have grown up as all I wanted my independence back!

I can honestly say that 2014 was my year and I would not go back and change a second of it! lets just hope that 2015 stays the same!!
